You see, when asked...
Many people remember a time when they felt like they had limitless energy. They could keep going... Push themselves to the limit over and over without any repercussion.
But somewhere along the line, their mental state changed and they lost all sense of motivation. Their enthusiasm disappeared and now they feel exhausted all the time.😮💨😮💨😮💨
Now they use language like... "I've lost my passion for life... I've lost interest in everything... I'm so unmotivated... I'm tired all the time... I just can't get myself to do anything...

In my experience, The Irony is that if you stay solely in either of these two camps, your mental health will still suffer. The reality is that both camps have their strengths and their weaknesses.
So, someone who is only always compassionate with themselves may stop criticizing themselves, and this could impede growth and development which means you could be stuck. Never moving forward in life.
😡😡😡In the same way, someone who is only always critical of themselves will always feel stressed, anxious or depressed.🤯😡😳🙄
Ultimately, the best approach is to develop a system that balances pushing yourself hard with treating yourself compassionately and giving yourself breaks. You can even go as far as using a system that balances depriving yourself with rewarding yourself as well.
That is the only way to maintain progress and productivity in life without breaking down. Especially if you are already struggling emotionally.
And this works because the pushing part of the system stops you from stagnating and the compassionate and rewarding side keeps you from burning out.
This is how you prevent difficult emotions from limiting you. Yes, we have to acknowledge and accept that these feelings are a part of life. But difficult 👍🏿👍🏿emotions do not have to dictate the direction of our lives.💪🏽💪🏽
