Traditional schema therapy, while deeper than CBT, was also overly complicated and re-traumatizing when used alone.

Somatic treatments like Polyvagal therapy were helpful but could not be solely relied upon.

All these therapies, used alone led to a yo-yo pattern of emotional highs and lows, failing to consistently heal the nervous system or restructure the schema life traps that  complex trauma sufferers have to grapple with.

Through these discoveries, I realized that a new approach was needed – one that integrates the essential elements of successful trauma therapy.

To overcome Complex PTSD for good, therapy must address these three core principles:
